Talent identification officer position available
SOUTH Fremantle currently has the position of Talent Identification Officer available within the club to assist with the identification, assessment and reporting of talented footballers aged 13-19.
Talent Identification Officer:
This is a crucial role within the club with the key purpose, to assist with the identification, assessment and reporting of talented footballers aged 13-19 within the South Fremantle recruiting zone in accordance with the South Fremantle.
The roles and requirements of the Talent Identification Officer include attending games as directed by the Talent Manager within the following competitions: Fremantle Conference Y8-Y12 as well as midweek (if possible) and weekend PSA school competitions. Prepare written reports on players viewed within an agreed timeline and in accordance with the South Fremantle Academy guidelines. Attend selection meetings as required by the Talent Manager.
Key experiences and qualifications of this role are as follows:
1. Demonstrated high football IQ with an ability to identify talent and a passion for football.
2. Ability to meet deadlines (submitting reports)
3. Competent IT skills (reporting is done through a computer program)
4. Availability for weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) during the football season.
5. Western Australian Driver’s License
6. Working with Children Card (or willingness to obtain)
This is a wonderful opportunity for a volunteer with great passion for football to improve their own skills and develop their own skill set within the football industry.
